Creer Beaute OFFICIALLY launches in Singapore!

Attended the Creer Beaute media launch awhile ago, and brought Aaryanna along with me as well. Thankful that she was really well behaved throughout the event and thank God I had the cousin, Rachael, & Tricia along with me to help out.

In Hong Kong, October 2013, Arakaki Tsusho Ltd released the Sailor Moon series of eyeliner which was an instant hit. It soon became one of the top selling eyeliners and together with the Versailles series, the Versailles Oscar Liquid Eyeliner won the Japan Beauty @ cosme award for the eyeliner category for 2 years consecutively

Swatched a couple of the eyeliner testers

Also got to meet, Mawaki Yamamoto, a Japanese makeup artist based in Singapore. He has made numerous of appearances as a guest makeup artist for brands like Candy Doll Singapore and KOSE and has even dolled up Japanese celebrities like Becky and Maki Tamaru before.

He did a live makeover, and shared the latest Japanese makeup trends and even his beauty secrets!

Picked up a couple of makeup tips from him during the event. Am so glad I had the chance to be there.
Thank you, Creer Beaute & Arakaki Tsusho Ltd for having me! :) x

Took a tour to some of Malacca's must-see attractions.
Christ Church, Malacca

Christ Church is an 18th-century Anglican church in the city of Malacca, Malaysia. It is the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia and is within the jurisdiction of the Lower Central Archdeaconry of the Anglican Diocese of West Malaysia.

Dutch Square

Dutch Square Malacca is the most picturesque along Jalan Kota. It's also a colourfull trishaw pickup point, it is distinguished by a group of bright, terracotta-red colonial Dutch buildings, built between 1660 and 1700, with louvered windows and chunky doors with wrought iron hinges.

A central fountain dominates the area: it is an ornate Victorian marble addition, erected in 1904 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. One of the oldest surviving parts of Malacca, Dutch Square’s most prominent building is the Stadthuys. Presiding over the entire south side of Dutch Square it was completed in 1660 and is said to be the oldest-existing Dutch building in the East.

The Stadthuys Of Malacca

The Stadthuys is believed to be the oldest-surviving Dutch building in the East. Part of Malacca town square’s prominent Dutch colonial architecture it is a massive bright terracotta-red riverfront building that was once the official residence of Dutch governors and officers.
Built between 1641 and 1660 on the ruins of a Portuguese fort, The Stadthuys of Malacca was the focus point of several successive governments (Dutch, Portuguese, British etc.) for over 300 years, from its completion until 1980. In 1982, Stadthuys was converted into a museum. The Stadthuys displays typical features of Dutch colonial architecture with massive walls, louvred windows and chunky doors with wrought-iron hinges.

St. Paul's Church, Malacca

The ruins of St. Paul’s Church are at the summit of St. Paul's Hill. Built on the site of the last Malaccan sultan’s istana (palace), it was constructed by Portuguese fidalgo (nobleman) captain, Duarte Coelho, in gratitude to the Virgin Mary for saving his life during a storm at sea.

Roofless and covered in ferns, it was originally called the Nossa Senhora da Annunciada (Our Lady of the Annunciation). Though it has been in ruins for more than 150 years, it is a beautiful, breezy sanctuary (reached after a steep flight of stairs) set near the remains of A’ Famosa fort.

A’Famosa is more than just quick photo stop opportunity for tourists. Built in 1511, the settlement used to sprawl across a whole hillside but now only a lone gate (Porta de Santiago) remains. One of the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia; it is set beside the Istana ke Sultanan on Jalan Kota.

A’Famosa is perhaps Malacca’s best known sightseeing spot. Originally constructed by Alfonso de Albuquerque (who led the Portuguese invasion on the Malacca Sultanate), the remains of the fort is now a crumbling whitewashed gatehouse and is located downhill from St. Paul’s Church.

Ee Ji Ban Chicken Rice Ball for lunch after we were done with sightseeing and shopping!

Those are not fishballs you see, they're the famous chicken rice balls from Malacca!

Weekend in Malacca (Day 1)

Monday, August 25, 2014
Road trip down to Melaka over the weekend with Julie's/Perfect food manufacturing.
Visted their factory in Melaka, Alor Gajah. - (More on that in another post)

Finally settled for dinner at a Peranakan restaurant. It's supposedly one of the best around! I remember being there a couple of years back during a tour as well.
Couldn't eat this as I don't take spicy stuff but it sure looks good!
Looks really unappealing here but this was my fav, hehe!
Chendol! Nomz.

Over to Jonker street to check out the night market. Though I've been there before, it's still pretty exciting to see all the road stalls and...
all the erm... FUNNY stuff they sell. HAHAHA.

Back to our apartment after and oh my, we were all really pleased with the house.
(Pic from:

Four of us shared a house, and there was a room for each of us!
Didn't wna sleep alone so guess who I bunked in with?
Before washing up. I was so exhausted, since I only slept at 5AM and woke up at 6AM that day.
Totally concussed on the bed after chit chatting with Clarabel.

I know this is a really short and boring post, but please bear with me. I promise better things are coming up, so watch this space! x

Black Hair Salon

Time check: 4:00AM
Am really dead tired right now and I've gotta be up in an hour or so as I'll be heading over to KL for an event. Gonna miss my fattypie sooooo much :'(

Anyway, have decided to draft a post up before I leave so my blog won't be dead while I'm gone. In case you haven't noticed, I've started posting new posts at 12PM every single day since last week(?). So you may keep checking back for new posts! What do y'all think about it? Please leave a comment and let me know. (Don't worry, all comments are moderated and will not be published unless you want them to be.)

Monthly session @ Black Hair Salon, & this time I had Nichy with me!
Had to go dark as Raymond said there were no other colours that could cover my previous colour :'( Besides, I have to dye my hair a darker tone due to work as well. We decided on dark brown base with green on the bottom half of my head.
Although I don't like seeing myself in dark colours, I have to agree that my hair looks so much healthier now! :)
Also snipped off a couple of inches, and back to bangs. Can't decide if I love or hate it :/
Still... Thank you again, Raymond & the Black Hair Salon team. x (Human+Kind All-In-One Wash Off Facial Cleanser)
