Furniture Shopping

If you don't already know, I managed to secure & book myself a flat recently. 

In Singapore, balloting for a flat is literally like winning a lucky draw - or you can say it's basically winning the lottery (Just that you have to pay for it. Ha ha.)

To be honest when I first received the email, I didn't know if my queue number was a good one or not. After asking around, I realized that it was a really good number. A pretty damn good one, to add. Not going to say what number it was, but it was a two digit number for a central flat. 

After getting a flat, what most people would do (or so I think - At least in my case it is), is to plan how they'd want their house to look like. This is when you start sourcing for house designs, interior designers, furnitures, etc.

I can always rely on pinterest to look for pretty house designs to give me an example of what I have in mine & google to source for reliable and trustable interior designers, however, furniture shopping is an extreme hassle for me.

Due to my hectic schedule, I rarely have enough spare time to go around sourcing for the right furniture.

Before we started, one of the consultants would assess our skin to see what we wanted to achieve and what our concerns with our face/body were.

After telling her my main concerns about my face - (Blackheads, Visible pores, Uneven skin tone) I was adviced to do the Carbonado Skin Laser Treatment.

Unlike many other clinics, you're advised not to put on makeup after treatments & some even makes your skin have red patches. Melancholy

Filled with overwhelming emotions, I can't seem to find a word to describe how I feel right now. Exhausted, definitely an under statement. Distressed, doesn't seem to quite fit it either. Lately my mind has been filled with a whirlwind of thoughts. Some sane, and some way too out of this world. 

I've never expected myself to land up in this situation. Back then, I thought I was the luckiest person alive. Sad to say, it goes as soon as it comes. Happiness never ever lasts. Fast forward, I've never felt so miserable my entire life. Mentally draining, sucking the life out of me bit by bit. 

Every single day passes so excrutiatingly slow. I can't seem to find joy or a peace of mind anywhere. It's like jail inside my very own head. I no longer know what I'm here for. The voices inside my head, they tell me to let go - run away, be free. I wish I could.

I always tell myself if I don't talk about my problems, maybe somehow they will cease to exist. But why do they seem like they're out to hunt me down this time round? Just let me go already.

Trick Eye Museum | A Museum Like No Other

After hearing so much about the Trick Eye Museum, I finally had the chance to experience it myself. 

Trick Eye is short for ‘Trick of the eye’, which refers to an art technique that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. With that, 2D paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings appear to pop out of the surface and come to life.
