3D2N Fishing Trip (South China Sea)

When I first heard we were going to "South China Sea", I honestly thought we were going to a part of China. #BimboMoment #Geographyfail #SorryNotSorry #NeverTookGeogInMyLife  So I googled about it and realized that "South China Sea" is actually a marginal sea that is part of the Pacific Ocean! :O Now, can I say I've been to the Pacific Ocean? 

Checked out the boat like little kid's before setting sail! 

AND you'll never guess the first thing we did once the boat set sail... *Laughs* 

We started playing...

...mahjong...Yes, on a boat. LOL.

Reached our destination before sunset and, I sh*t you not, the view was spectacular. 

Cotton candy skies! I was truly in awe!

Day 2 and 3 were pretty much just me bumming around and waking up to see the stupendous sunset which I still can't get over everytime I scroll through the pictures. 

There was nothing around us, just the sky and sea. No land, no nothing. There were the occasional boats passing us here and there, but there was nothing much. And I must say, it was pretty therapeutic to be there.

OH! And I never knew that when we were on the boat there'd be custom checks on us. I always thought the checks would be before we boarded the boat so it was something really new to me! #MountainTurtle

Check out the amount of fish the guys caught! :O Impressive yet shocking all at the same time.

It was fun while it lasted but o well, I'm glad to be back :)

Back

Just came back from a short trip where I experienced the most breathtaking views and prettiest sunsets EVER. Have so much to update about, I don't even know where to start. Came back to a ton of emails and I promise I'll get back to y'all in the next couple of days so please, please be patient with me. x

When you guys see this, I'm probably already in the middle of the sea as we're headin' off to a fishing trip fo' a couple of days.

*This post took abit longer then expected as I wanted the make sure the products DO work before writing about em' *

I'm gonna be talking about an aesthetic clinic that most of you have probably already heard about so I'm pretty sure they need no introduction.

To be honest, I have tried DRx products prior to this and it did not work for me back then. Thus, I thought twice before taking up this offer - And I'm glad I did.

!Disclaimer: The previous time when I used their products it was because of an ex of mine who used their products and I just used his products. I did not consult any doctor. Hehe. Oops.

From what I understood during my appointment with Dr David, to use DRx products you have to first be consulted by their doctors to be prescribed what suits your skintype else it wouldn't work for you, unlike those you can get off the shelves from drugstores. You will also not be able to walk-in and purchase any products as and when you like. 

Was really comfortable and at ease during the consultation cos Dr David was so nice and friendly! I can be abit of a bimbo when it comes to asking questions and I'm so glad he was so patient with me. Addressed my concerns (Yellow-ish skin tone and acne due to my recent experiment - Will share more soon!) to Dr David and he analysed my skin and told me what my problem areas were.

I was then brought into another room to get my before & after photos taken before I'd start on my new skincare regime!

Super excited I couldn't wait to get home to wash my face with the new products!

Day 1: Did the entire routine as taught/told. Put on the comodone and blemish cream and my face turned RED. I had such a rude shock. Thankfully it went away after awhile and now, my face doesn't turn red anymore!

Also tried on the Anti-Blemish Mask and my face feels smoother. NOT even kiddin'.

Am currently at Day 6 and all is well. My skin condition has definitely improved.

Of course it's still too early to say too much but please stay tuned to my posts as I'll be updatin' frequently on my journey with DRx. 

(Censored my eyes here cos I didn't have any make up on. Hehe!)

Can't wait fo' my next appointment where I'll be headin' to DRx Medispa!

Why?

So many times, I've ended up here.
And even more times, I've questioned myself: Why?

The thing I've realized is that - People can only hurt you if you let them.
So why do we let them?

And even when they do,
why do we still continue to protect them?

It baffles me to know that despite knowing we are gonna hurt the people we love,
we still do it.

I had such a terrible day today,
but I'm hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

初一 (Chinese New Year, Day 1)

Didn't take much pictures as we were so tired & busy rushing from houses, one after another. Had to take off Aaryanna's shoes cos it was too big fo' her. Smart momma, me, decided to buy shoes that were 0.5cm bigger thinkin' she could wear em' longer. Bad choice though. Hmph. Also wore a midi dress today which was a first and not something I'd usually wear. Tomorrow's gonna be another long day, time to head to bed now before my eye bags go from bad to worse. Toodles.

Reunion Dinner #2

2nd reunion dinner of the year with my relatives. Aaryanna woke up just in time to 'lo hei' together with us. Didn't manage to get pictures of most of the food cos everyone was hungry & dug in before I could even take my camera out :( 

Can't wait to see the rest of the family during Chinese New Year! May everyone have a prosperous Chinese New Year! Huat ah! :P (Speaking of huat, I really can't wait to show-off my CNY nails!!!)

Crazy adorable HANDMADE - Made to order genuine leather moccasins c/o The Petit Craft

These are probably the prettiest and comfiest footwear Aaryanna has up to date. I absolutely adore how soft the leather is and how comfortable it is for my baby. Definitely worth investing in! 

Apart from footwear, The Petit Craft also has matchy mummy & baby headbands which they very kindly sent over to us and I love it! (If you don't already know, I love having matchy matchy outfits/stuff with Aaryanna! :P)

The headbands are uber comfy and elastic so it won't feel too tight. I hate it when I wear certain headbands and they are SO FREAKING TIGHT they make my head hurt. Ugh.

Leonard's 23rd

Met up with the boys to celebrate Leonard's 23rd. Just a simple dinner, catching up and some shopping. Times with them are always good and I'm thankful all of them dote on Aaryanna almost as much as I do. 

Happy birthday once again, Pau. You can be such an annoying prick sometimes but I love you nonetheless. Please continue to study hard and stay strong. x
