When I first heard we were going to "South China Sea", I honestly thought we were going to a part of China. #BimboMoment #Geographyfail #SorryNotSorry #NeverTookGeogInMyLife So I googled about it and realized that "South China Sea" is actually a marginal sea that is part of the Pacific Ocean! :O Now, can I say I've been to the Pacific Ocean?
Checked out the boat like little kid's before setting sail!
AND you'll never guess the first thing we did once the boat set sail... *Laughs*
We started playing...
...mahjong...Yes, on a boat. LOL.
Reached our destination before sunset and, I sh*t you not, the view was spectacular.
Cotton candy skies! I was truly in awe!
Day 2 and 3 were pretty much just me bumming around and waking up to see the stupendous sunset which I still can't get over everytime I scroll through the pictures.
There was nothing around us, just the sky and sea. No land, no nothing. There were the occasional boats passing us here and there, but there was nothing much. And I must say, it was pretty therapeutic to be there.
OH! And I never knew that when we were on the boat there'd be custom checks on us. I always thought the checks would be before we boarded the boat so it was something really new to me! #MountainTurtle
Check out the amount of fish the guys caught! :O Impressive yet shocking all at the same time.
It was fun while it lasted but o well, I'm glad to be back :)
