Celebrate Mothers' Day with Fish & Co.!

To say 'Thank You' to all mums out there, Fish & Co. has lovingly came up with a special Mother's Day Deluze Platter. The special platter features luxurious seafood in chilli cream mushroom sauce, alongside with beef bacon, chicken chorizo and assorted vegetables. 

The Mother's Day platter & set menu will be available at ALL outlets EXCEPT Vivo City, Waterway Point, and East Coast from 27th April to 8th May 2016. 

The platter set menu comes in 2 & 4 pax which costs $59.95 & $111.95 respectively.

I had the chance to tryout the 4 pax platter which consists of:

- Crispy White Baits

- Grilled Calamari

- Mother's Day Deluxe Platter + Paella Rice

- Best Fish & Chips

- Shrimp & Clam Aglio Olio

- 4 Soft Drinks 

- 2 Fudge Cakes

Also, in lieu of Glass House's impending closure, Fish & Co. would like to invite all mums and families to hang out at Glass House! Mums in the (Glass)House dinner will be held on 8th May 2016 from 5:45 to 8PM.

My Gym @ Buona Vista

About a year and a half ago, Aaryanna celebrated her birthday with the rest of her December baby friends over at My Gym @ Buona Vista (You can read about it here: http://www.strawberrycoatedkisses.com/2014/12/happy-1st-birthday-december-babies-mass.html) and as you can tell, they had a ball of a time and Aaryanna LOVED the place! So this time, when she was invited down to tryout their gym classes, I literally jumped at the chance to bring her there.

Aaryanna is currently in their GYMSTER class (Which is for kids from 19M-3Y).
Quoted from the site, 'We work on fine and gross manipulatives in a structured format, dance, swing, play games, puppetry, take turns on special rides. They learn gymnastics in a constantly changing program with fresh ingredients and new equipment setups.'

Their lessons usually start with circle time. Where all of the kids & their parents would sit in a circle for an introduction, say hello, sing a welcome song and get comfortable before proceeding with the other activities. It's always anticipating to see all the new different activites the teachers have prepared every single lesson as the activites are always different each time.

One of my FAVOURITE things about My Gym @ Buona Vista is that I absolutely adore how passionate all the teachers are. It's not everyday you find teachers who are so patient with kids. Esp when you know your child is one helluva mischievous kid.

Half of me wants to stay right where I am, in this stressful place because it’s all that I know. There's something comforting in daily routine & sameness. Like perhaps, everything isn't as bad as it appears? That maybe these things just take time to fix themselves? The other half wants me to leave and never come back, to forget everything about this place that I call home and settle somewhere else. Somewhere where no one knows me and I can live as I please without any questions or criticism.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Brought daddy to Bucktile St. Cafe located at the west side of Singapore for his birthday. We tried their blue velvet cake, waffles with coconut ice cream drizzled with white cocoa blue velvet sauce - I swear I was expecting it to be overrated but it was bombdiggity! Their mid wings were not too bad as well.

If you're keen, Bucktile St. Cafe is located at 104 Faber Drive and they're opened all the way till 11PM!

We all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin.

Alone

It's been awhile since I've had some time all to myself.

For the past couple of months, I've never really set down alone and thought about the things I wanted in life. All I wanted, was to ignore and run away from the problems I was/am facing. I didn't want to talk to anyone about it, let alone think about it.

I have always believed that if we don't talk about our problems, they will disappear and cease to exist. It has always been that way from me.

People always ask me why it was so easy for me to get over it. Fact is, it wasn't. It was hell for me, but I chose to ignore the fact that it hurt. It seemed easier that way. Everything seems easier when you just pretend it's not there, when you keep yourself busy.

I kept myself so busy I barely had anytime alone. I just didn't want to be.

Thing is, since I didn't think about it - The past few months are of those I have made the craziest and rashest decisions in my life. Maybe it's time for me to tone down and get back on track.

I will be back & I will be better. For Aary & fo' myself.
