Honestly, this pregnancy took way longer than expected and I had almost given up hope on having another child. I've always wanted my kids to be close in age and since Aaryanna would be turning 8 this year, I felt that the age gap between the kids would be too far apart. Early last year I even told Gex that if we still don't expect a child by the end of the year then let's not try anymore.
In September last year, I felt that there wouldn't be a chance I would get pregnant anymore and had a consultation to get a boob job. I had confirmed the date that I would be getting it done and the very next day after my appointment Gex said to me, "Do you think that there's something different about your boobs?" - At that point I felt like it could've been my menses coming or something but Gex felt that I should at least just check.
I can't even begin to describe the wave of emotions I felt at that moment. We immediately scheduled an appointment with the gynae and found out that I was already 5 weeks in! I can't believe I didn't suspect it at all even when I had missed my period?!
